The service and its operator
EASYCRM is a wholly owned project of Chrysalis Marketing (Pty) Ltd, company registration number K2021340278, registered in South Africa on 22 January 2021. Chrysalis Marketing also uses the trading name Chrysalis Growth Partners. Questions and legal notices may be sent to support@easycrm.co.za.
These terms describe the conditions for using EASYCRM’s website and CRM service. If you create or manage an account for a business, you must have authority to act for that business. A separately agreed written service contract may add to or vary these terms for that customer.
EASYCRM is an independent product. It is not provided, sponsored or endorsed by Google or Meta.
Accounts and workspace access
Use accurate account details, protect passwords and authenticator recovery codes, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access. Do not share personal sign-in credentials. You are responsible for the instructions you submit and the people you authorise to use your workspace.
A customer workspace has its own records and connection settings. Platform administration is a separate role and does not automatically provide ordinary access to customer records. The service uses shared infrastructure with application access controls; it does not promise a separate SQL database or dedicated server for every customer.
Your data and permissions
You retain your rights in the content you provide. You authorise us to host, copy, process and transmit that content only as needed to provide the service, follow your lawful instructions, maintain security and meet legal obligations. Our Privacy Policy explains the associated personal-information processing.
Before importing contacts, conversations or files, you must have the rights and lawful basis to do so, including for information about people who do not have an EASYCRM account. Collect only necessary information and respect requests to correct, restrict or remove it. Do not upload passwords, cryptocurrency recovery phrases or other secrets into contact notes or custom fields.
Identity suggestions require your review. Shared email addresses, names and phone numbers are not proof that records belong to the same person. You remain responsible for confirming merges, relationships and recipient details.
Messaging and automation
You control your workspace’s sending connections, recipients, templates, forms and sequence instructions. Review them before activation. You must comply with applicable privacy and direct-marketing rules, honour opt-outs and suppression, and follow your email provider’s policies. Possessing a contact address does not by itself authorise unsolicited marketing.
Automations can run while you are signed out. Provider acceptance of a message does not guarantee inbox delivery. After an uncertain delivery result, check the sending mailbox before requesting a retry; a retry could create a duplicate.
Do not use the service for spam, deceptive messages, impersonation, unlawful profiling, malware distribution or interference with another person’s systems or data.
Third-party connections and feature limits
Connecting a provider is optional and requires your authorisation. Google and other providers apply their own terms, quotas and availability limits. Revocation, expired tokens or provider changes may interrupt a feature.
The current Google integration supports one connected mailbox per workspace, saved Contacts review, Gmail history and sending, primary Calendar reading, and Drive metadata indexing. It does not provide general Google Docs editing, Meet management or CalDAV integration merely because those APIs are enabled in a Cloud project.
WhatsApp and Obsidian support selected exported-history imports. EASYCRM does not promise a complete personal WhatsApp account export, encrypted iPhone backup decryption, or continuous personal-number messaging. Keep originals of important source information.
Early access, availability and fees
EASYCRM is currently offered in early access. Features may change and planned features are not a commitment to deliver them on a particular date. Unless separately agreed in writing, no particular uptime or recovery-time service level is promised.
Any paid plan, price, taxes, billing period, cancellation conditions and applicable refund terms must be disclosed and agreed before a charge is made. These terms do not authorise a charge or enrol you into an automatic paid subscription.
We may perform maintenance or take proportionate action to protect the service. Where practical, we will provide notice of material disruption.
Suspension, closure and retention
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a security risk, unlawful use, a material breach or a legal requirement. Where appropriate and practicable, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue.
You may request closure or data assistance at support@easycrm.co.za. Disconnecting a provider does not automatically erase imported data. Workspace deletion removes active workspace information in stages; shared user accounts and backup copies are handled separately as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Request any information you need before closing the workspace. Do not treat EASYCRM as your only archive of essential business records.
Intellectual property
The EASYCRM software, branding and website remain the property of their respective owners. Subject to these terms and any agreed plan, you may use the service for your lawful business purposes. This does not transfer ownership of the software or grant rights to misuse our branding.
Do not attempt to bypass access controls or obtain another customer’s data. Any restrictions on software use apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Responsibility and applicable law
Each party remains responsible for its own conduct and obligations under applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable consumer protections.
EASYCRM organises business information; it does not provide legal, tax, investment or other regulated professional advice. Obtain appropriate advice for decisions that require it.
South African law governs these terms, subject to mandatory rights that apply to you. Contact support@easycrm.co.za first to try to resolve a concern. This does not prevent either party from approaching a competent court, regulator or other available dispute-resolution body.
Updates and contact
We may revise these terms as the service develops. We will identify the revision date and provide appropriate notice of material changes. If fresh agreement is required by law or an existing contract, a website update alone does not replace it.
